I would like a use for it. I am NOT buying a replacement battery compartment, NOT marketing it on E Bay for $five, and Not merely throwing it out. Just pondering if any person has some Imaginative idea probably to turn it right into a base scanner, or fitting it into some Bizarre gadget. Base line, it really works on AC, and I don't need to toss it
